Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2025  ยท  Last updated: January 1, 2025

Sky Hopper is a free, browser-based arcade game built for fun. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information, if any, we collect when you play Sky Hopper, and how we use it.

1 Information we collect

Sky Hopper is designed to be a lightweight, privacy-friendly experience. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to play the game.

The only data stored is your best score, which is saved locally in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

2 Cookies and local storage

Sky Hopper may use your browser's local storage solely to remember your high score between sessions. This is entirely local to your browser and no cookie-based tracking is used.

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data for this page.

3 Usage data and analytics

We do not currently use third-party analytics services. We do not track how long you play, which levels you reach, or any other behavioral data.

If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so and will use privacy-preserving, aggregated data only โ€” never individual user tracking.

4 Third-party services

Sky Hopper loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) to display the game text. This is a standard web practice. Please refer to Google's own privacy policy if you wish to understand how font requests are handled.

We do not embed advertising networks, social media widgets, or any third-party tracking services.

5 Children's privacy

Sky Hopper is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information, there are no special risks to younger players. We do not knowingly collect any data from children or any other users.

6 Data security

Since we do not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no user data at risk from a server breach. Your best score exists only in your own browser.

7 Changes to this policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We will always keep this policy simple and plain-language. If something material changes, we will make it clearly visible at the top of this page.

8 Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is no data to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. If you wish to remove locally stored high score data, you can do so directly through your browser settings.
